The staff were very enthusiastic, and the room, though small, felt cozy with warm underfloor heating; the bathroom had a strong heat‑airer that dried snow gear quickly. Walking a short distance takes you straight to the slopes, which is convenient. The bed was too soft and caused back and waist aches after waking. Breakfast options were limited, and ordering bacon and eggs cost extra. There was no oven or microwave, only a water dispenser with hot water.

The lodge was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you expect from a foreign‑run ski resort in Japan. The room and bathroom were very small, though still comfortable and featuring a tiny balcony, and there was barely enough space to store gear and clothes. No one mentioned, until we checked out, what breakfast items were included in the room price.

The staff were very helpful and made daily skiing easy, with a lovely breakfast and lifts to and from the slopes on days we didn’t want to walk (10–15 minutes with kids). The room was very comfortable. The dryer wasn’t great, but we still managed to load a load of laundry.

Great managers and exceptional staff who were always friendly and helpful. The drying area for snow gear was small.
