The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet, the decor was atmospheric and rustic, you could smell wood, which would bother sensitive asthmatics. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient.

The guests were friendly and the breakfast was great, and the place was clean. The rooms and equipment were too simple… okay for a stopover on the way… in the evening the shower water was lukewarm.

Communication with the owner was very good and changing the late arrival time was hassle‑free, but the windows need mosquito netting installed.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly, and the location couldn’t be better. I never got a guest card or the invoice I needed, which was annoying. On top of that, the price for the room was just way too high for what was offered.

Staying in a traditional Austrian farm house was a real treat, and the owners were genuinely helpful. The spot is perfect for anyone heading to the western Salzburg area—Grossglockner road, Kaprun, Zell am See, Krimml, and the Tauern mountains—and breakfast was decent. The only drawback is that the rooms feel a bit outdated, even though they’re clean and well maintained.
