“Traumhaftes Naturparadies - super sauber”
A small slice of quiet nature paradise. Super clean—couldn’t get better in the rainforest. Greg, the host, cooked delicious meals for us and is really nice.

The location was convenient and the place was clean. The breakfast options were very limited, and I didn’t feel very private with cameras around; I would prefer a more discreet setting. It was interesting that having some food in the cabin wasn’t encouraged.

The location was central to all walks and attractions and in a prime position. The host Greg was kind, funny, a great host, and a reasonable "bush chef".

The chirping of birds was the only bright spot, but overall the place fell short of its description in many ways, making the stay extremely disappointing. The owner, Greg, was brusque and unfriendly, turning the experience into a Fawlty Towers episode with an unlikable Basil at the helm. Everything felt highly overpriced for what was offered, so I would recommend looking elsewhere. We decided to cut our losses and left a day early.

Finding the spot from the main road was a breeze, and there was no traffic noise to disturb us. The surrounding forest was teeming with bird life, and the spring water was of great quality—no odd smell, appearance, or taste. The host is genuinely nice, though some sensitive people might find his direct approach a little gruff; he prepares each meal himself and serves each group together. Chatting with other visitors during these meals was a real bonus, giving local insight and suggestions from fellow travelers. The accommodation was extremely clean, functional, and well presented. Nothing bad to say.
