The hotel looks very modern and is a lovely retreat, with very friendly staff, though it sits a bit outside the main area.

Everything was great, especially the surroundings. Nothing to note.

The room was spotless, the Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very friendly—Donald was especially helpful. The monkeys, peacock, monitor lizard, birds, and cats made for fantastic company; it’s basically a zoo, and that’s part of the charm. The pool was refreshing and fun. Being a bit away from Weligama was a plus. We relaxed for two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer; it’s the best hotel I’ve been to in a long time. The road outside is a mess, but that isn’t the hotel’s fault.

This place is a hidden gem. Waking up to the breathtaking view of lush jungle on one side and serene rice paddies on the other, all framed by the infinity pool, feels almost surreal. Daily visits from playful monkeys and a stunning peacock that appears like clockwork make it feel like living inside a nature documentary. The rooms are beautifully designed with a contemporary feel that respects and blends with the environment; every detail feels intentional and calming. If you want a peaceful, unique spot deeply connected to nature, this is it—a rare find that stays with you long after you leave 💚

The calm vibe, the food, and the location are amazing. However, there are so many monkeys that when you’re not in the room they jump into the pool, which is out of anyone’s control, and you’ll avoid the pool, so the price doesn’t feel justified.
