“A suitable option away from the hustle and bustle of the city”
The Omani staff were friendly and attentive, and the resort’s location boasts a beautiful beach and a clean, sizable pool. However, the resort clearly needs a full renovation, especially the outdoor areas like the gardens, walkways, beach chairs, and the outdoor tables and chairs at the restaurant. The breakfast fell short of what you’d expect from a five‑star resort in terms of quality, variety, and service, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re after a five‑star breakfast experience.
“كانت رحله مميزة وخياليه”
The hotel is beautiful, luxurious, and quiet, a short walk from the beach with great views, and the property is huge with many facilities. The pool is huge, and in the middle of the pool area there’s a warm, fun jacuzzi for kids. The building’s elegance is stunning, and the chandeliers, woodwork, and attention to detail blend modernity with Omani heritage. When I booked with a child in the room, they provided a free bed, and although my reservation had no breakfast, when my daughter arrived in the morning and was still a small child, they didn’t charge her extra. I did notice a slight delay in responding to requests such as extra towels, and I wished the billiards, gaming, and kids’ play area were open so the time would be more enjoyable; that’s why I recommend focusing on those. It’s essential to have pool security, as the pool isn’t very deep but poses a serious drowning risk, especially given its size.
“كل شي تمام”
What impressed me was the reception staff, especially the young Omani man Hussein; the rooms were clean and the view was more than wonderful. The bed is soft but has a problem, possibly due to wear, making it uncomfortable to sleep on.
The room was comfortable, but it’s close to Al Arab Street.
The location was good, but the food was lacking.
