The stay was wonderful: the hotel is stunning, the setting is very quiet and green, the rooms are cozy, comfortable and fully equipped, the staff is extremely friendly and the owners are very welcoming and considerate, making the stay even better; breakfast was fantastic, fresh and delicious, the honesty bar is a fun concept that creates a relaxed atmosphere, in short, a beautiful place, friendly people and an amazing stay – definitely recommend.

“Een groen en rustig plekje in de Achterhoek”

The bed was good in a spacious room with warm colours, there’s a private terrace right next to the large garden with beautiful trees, the quiet location on a sandy road just outside the town of Winterswijk was perfect, no traffic noise and you can walk straight into nature; it’s nice that in the evening you can enjoy self‑service drinks in the dining room (there’s a great beer list). As a constructive suggestion, it would be great if a full restaurant menu appeared in the future (currently only a small one); the new owners, who have been active for only three weeks, said they would consider it, and if the delicious soup I was served is tailored to size, that will definitely be a success.

Great spot to stay. Super breakfast and very friendly owners. Beautiful surroundings, in the middle of nature. Everything was fine.
