“An absolute scam and not worth your money at ALL.”
Mira was the only bright spot of the trip—she really stood out. I strongly advise people to reconsider booking here. Our stay was one of the worst we’ve ever had, and the resort looks nothing like the ads. It’s in disrepair, offers almost nothing to do, and the advertised massages, snorkel and paddleboard rentals were missing. There’s no indoor space, so when the weather turned cold and rainy, it was miserable. No activities or entertainment were provided by the staff. We had to repeatedly ask for extra blankets and remind staff before getting them. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional; his poor organization made guests worry about missing ferries. When we mentioned being late, he stomped his feet, yelled at us, and told us to “find our own way off the island” even though there is no other exit. Unexpected fees piled up: $45 per person each way for the boat transfer and $20 per person per day for “energy costs,” neither of which was disclosed at booking. The weather was beyond the resort’s control, but the bad management, lack of facilities, hidden costs, and guest mistreatment made this a horrible experience. Read the Google reviews before booking—I wish we had.
