It was beautiful and very accommodating, but it got extremely cold at night and we didn’t bring a heater because there is one there; however that heater doesn’t heat up the tent, so we slept our first night with it being 37° in our yurt.

I was impressed by how spotless everything was.

We were disappointed that breakfast wasn’t part of the package, and there were several cosmetic and easy fixes that should be addressed before we’d consider returning, even though the place has huge potential. We liked the grill and the utensils, but we had to hunt around a bit to find everything—clearer signage would help, especially since we arrived just before dark. We found no potable water, and I don’t remember being told to bring our own, though I might have missed that note. Each tent should have a liter of bottled water when guests arrive. A bigger issue was the lack of water to douse our campfire; there was a hose but no hookup we could locate, perhaps it was meant to connect to the shower, which the owner admitted was broken but offered no compensation. We managed to extinguish the fire ourselves, but that shouldn’t have been necessary. The bed was very comfortable, yet we didn’t have enough blankets. To top it off, the platform overcharged us—the posted price was $52 plus taxes/fees. Despite all that, we’d love to come back sometime.
