“First time glamping, it was a bit of a magical place. We hope to return.”
The sauna was amazing, the view of the lake from the sauna was stunning, the facilities were really well thought through, and having firewood available daily was a nice touch for staying warm. The bed was so comfortable, candles in the room were romantic, the eco loo was interesting, and there were more toilets in the main building. The main building was built beautifully and decorated warmly, and the staff were very kind and friendly. I lost an earring and they found it for me—like a needle in a haystack, I don't know what the chances are. We enjoyed the cows on the property, the goldfinches, and the swan and geese that made a magical landing into the lake when we were in it one evening. We also liked being encouraged to disconnect from our devices. We had an adventurous hike at Benbulbin nearby, explored the bogs, Irish quicksand, and had a yummy dinner out in Donegal Town. We felt refreshed after our trip. The weather can be rainy and cold.
“One of a kind stay!”
The concept was refreshingly original and I appreciated how eco‑friendly it truly was.
The yurt was beautiful and the rural setting made it a stunning stay.
“Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed all the location has to offer”
The spot was gorgeous and checking in was flawless, with the place spotless.
“Wonderful place, values-based travel. Loved it”
Amazing place to stay, communal facilities were excellent and the yurt itself was beautiful. Nothing to not like. It was right up our street
