I loved the entire place, from the intimate and warm central courtyard to the lovely house details and the various areas—observation decks, hammock area, open‑air cinema, bonfire. The breakfast was amazing and varied day to day, and the sunset view over the hills was magical. The traditional wooden houses are beautiful and the rooms are nicely decorated with everything you need, but remember that wood isn’t perfect for soundproofing.

We were welcomed with beautiful views and a friendly vibe, and the middle house—a restored gem in the compound—had all the comforts: WIFI, hot shower, toiletries, and a kettle that came as a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant meals were a bit pricey but understandable given the remote setting. Relaxing in hammocks and around the campfire was a treat. The only downside was the lack of a cinema on Sunday. The isolation caught us off guard; driving up and down the single‑track hill road in our small i20 felt nerve‑wracking, especially with the cliff edge close by. Thankfully we avoided any encounters because reversing would have been impossible. The car struggled a bit, and we had to push it up to clear the gate. There’s an easier descent: turn left out of the gate, follow a track for about 5 minutes, then hit a tarmac road—ask for this route if you’re in a small car.
