The optional steak was delicious and the sauna in the bath was fantastic. It was a pity there was no cold bath.

The facilities were good, but the toilet cleaning was lacking. The food was bad.

All‑you‑can‑drink alcohol at dinner was a rare find, with a full range of options. As soon as I checked in and stepped into the room, my wife and I were hit by a strong ammonia smell. The source was the toilet just beyond the door, apparently smelling from grime along the rim of the toilet and floor. We called the front desk and asked for cleaning, but the person who came seemed to clean only the obvious spots. When I explained the situation again, they replied with a “maybe it smells” look and said “the grime can get stuck and stink.” I had many doubts, but I gave up trying to get a proper fix and tried to handle it myself. It was disappointing that the front desk didn’t coordinate with the staff, and even more surprising that the staff seemed unfazed by the odor. I felt distrust that they were ignoring such a strong smell. I’ve stayed at many places, even older ones, and never had this experience. After I cleaned it myself and disinfected with my own alcohol, I managed to get through the night.
