“Nowe doświadczenie jeżeli chodzi o Zanzibar ale niestety nie koniecznie pozytywne.”
The staff deserves a big plus: the ladies preparing breakfast and cleaning were very pleasant, made tasty, varied, and generous breakfasts, and the dinner prepared by the managing lady after our 3‑day safari was another highlight. The masajowie who watched over the property were also very friendly and helpful, and the pool was another plus. However, the rooms had an unpleasant odor that could be mitigated by turning on the air‑conditioning, but frequent power outages made that impossible. In the first days we found cockroaches in the rooms—six in total across three rooms, but ten in one room. After we intervened, the managing lady carried out disinfection and the problem disappeared. The surroundings outside the property leave much to be desired: it’s very dirty, full of trash, and the buildings along the path to the property don’t encourage walking and disturb the sense of safety. Over time you can get used to it, and the fact is that although the area doesn’t look safe, no one bothered us and passersby were kind.
