The experience John and Silvana craft feels magical; if I return, I won’t consider staying elsewhere.

“An absolutely magical paradise that will stay high on our list of favourite resorts to visit!”

This place is absolutely magical. The photos look beautiful, but it truly is paradise on earth. The level of care & thought that went into the architecture, buildings, gardens, layout, etc makes it one of the most remarkable places we've ever stayed. The icing on the cake is the chats with John, who was happy to spend each time with each guest individually, getting to know them so you leave feeling a part o the family, and the organisational skills of Silvana, from pre-arrival (checking our flights for us) to welcoming us at arrival, through to organising all our tours for us. Let's not forget the specular rooms with rock features that are truly one of a kind, as well as the sensational staff that greeted us every day with a smile and made us feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble. If you want a truly relaxing, one of a kind holiday, look no further. We made great friends at this resort, due to the fact that connecting with others (and not your phone) is encouraged but the welcoming vibe and conversations with John. it made for the perfect stay x We truly felt grateful for everything we had knowing how difficult it was to build and sustain this little slice of paradise in difficult conditions. There were nights it would have been nice to sit around the fire chatting to other guests, but I am guessing that happens in the summer season, when it's not dark so early.so all good x

“Adventure and lush relaxation”

We had the greatest time at Rockwater. It really is a fabulous place. The resort itself is something of an engineering marvel given how remote Tanna is. The rooms are beautiful and insulated. The staff were just lovely. The food was incredibly tasty. Silvana and John organised everything and I’m pleased to say we barely had to make a decision for ourselves for days. The excursions were all a great adventure and when we weren’t being adventurous it was perfectly relaxing. 100% recommend!. Nothing

“Il paradiso in terra! Resort bellissimo, ottima pulizia e staff davvero gentile e preparato. Un’esperienza autentica ges”

The structure has an architecture fused with the mountain and the coast in a truly elegant way. The garden is paradisiacal. There is a cove that gives direct access to the sea on the coral reef. The rooms are very clean. It was all fabulous!

“A unique slice of paradise”

We had a wonderful stay at the Rockwater Resort. The location and gardens were sublime and the staff were wonderful. The food was very good and seasonal. The facilitation of our tour and airport transfers was excellent. It is a great and unique place to relax and unwind. The only negative was the lack of a bedside reading light - or advice that this is not provided so readers can bring their own mini light for nighttime reading
