The shower and bed were fine, but everything else was a mess: the TV only worked sporadically, the microwave was broken and wired in a makeshift way, the sink was falling apart with crooked drawers that were hard to open, the outlets were loose, rusty, and posed a danger with exposed wires hanging behind the room door, the entrance door left a cut on my fingers because the key wouldn’t turn and was rusty, we had to force it, one side of the glass front door was loose from the floor and only stuck at the top, the owner’s reception was very unpleasant—when we picked up the key he said, “you chose this one, we have better and more expensive ones, but you booked this unpleasant one so the owner can speak badly about his own place, it doesn’t matter if it’s simple or luxurious, everything should work properly and be safe.” In fact, I think they should evaluate their partners better; they’re not ready to host people in winter who don’t want to book their pricier rooms. I’ve always stayed at Pousada Vida Farol, the corner on the same street, a great place with everything working, safe and whole. I wanted a different opinion, and I regret it. I left on 28/07 after noon. No internal door closed properly, only by pushing hard to open, the bathroom door couldn’t stay open, it smelled like sewage. I don’t have photos, only a video of the accommodation’s condition.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, it was wonderful, and the place is beautiful.

The reception and full attention from Mr. Heleno were amazing, the location is perfect, but the wall paint is terrible and the sofa is awful—better replace or remove it.
