“Exceptionally awful! I should receive a refund and nobody should ever stay here!”

Nothing… the property is literally a nightmare in every way and should be torn down… Literally! It was so awful. We booked a room at another hotel and refused to stay there. I can’t believe Booking would allow anybody to pay for a room here, grossly disappointed! The property should be torn down, I’m not kidding!

“Pleasant stay”

This is a unique property, set in the country, full of history. It’s a former county home/insane asylum that’s been restored into a B & B. Very quiet. The room was clean, the bed comfy, towels nice, shower hot, breakfast lovely. The host and kitchen staff were pleasant. There are two outside seating areas. The property is about 15 minutes outside Stillwater. Watch for deer at night! The property borders a county park. The county trails aren’t well maintained; wear long pants if you hike. The TV in our room was for streaming only. If you wanted to watch dish TV in the common room that was an option if you could get it to work. The common area has a tiny refrigerator and a microwave. No snacks or fresh fruit are available beyond breakfast hours of 9 – 10 a.m.

“Quite and relaxing”

The spot is gorgeous, and the owners are fantastic—they pop by every morning for breakfast with us. The rooms are roomy and kept in great shape.
