The spot is unbeatable—just a minute’s walk to Praça Tiradentes and the Museum of Tales.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There were plenty of blankets and the shower was warm.
For the price you get a lot more than you'd expect—definitely good value for money.

“Estadia agradável.”
I liked the room’s cleanliness, the location, and the service.
“Maravilhoso”
The best thing is the central location, right on the street that goes up to Praça Tiradentes. The hostel sits on Rua do Restaurações Nazareno. The staff is super kind and friendly. The value for money is great for those who don’t mind simple, comfortable facilities. I would only suggest putting a larger sign with the hostel’s name, because I ended up touching my neighbor’s sign by mistake, haha. The city is cold and the rooms are damp, so towels don’t dry easily; if you’re staying many days, bring two towels.
“Great guesthouse in convenient location”
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely guesthouse. The room was big, the garden nice, and the host was very helpful, letting us leave our bags after check‑out. It’s in a great spot with many restaurants and cafés close by, and everything is within walking distance. It’s a shame they don’t offer breakfast.
“Não gostei de uma forma geral”
The only thing good was the location, although it’s hard to find and there’s no sign. The room smelled of mold, the blanket was bad, the furniture was outdated, ventilation was poor, and the area was not safe.
“Foi uma ótima estadia e ficaria lá outras vezes, tranquilamente!”
The location is excellent, close to all the main tourist spots, so we walked almost all the tours. The room is well ventilated, with two windows—one large and one smaller—both with blackout curtains, keeping privacy for guests. The bathroom also has a separate window. The room is spacious and comes with a TV, mini‑fridge, wardrobe, and a small table for meals or a home office. The environment is calm and quiet. Restaurants, cafés, and bakeries are all nearby. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like.
