The apartment was very large, in a beautiful spot, and quiet. The room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. The place is secluded, so you’ll definitely need a scooter, tuk‑tuk, or car. We saw a big goose running around the garden.

The location is absolutely great. If you value peace, quiet, comfort, and discretion, this is the place for you. Getting there is possible from both the city and the dam. The owner is very hospitable, polite, and helpful, and assisted with arranging a safari in the nearby park. Meals can be prepared on site. Warm water and air conditioning are available—highly recommended. Someone might say the travel is a drawback, but for me it’s an advantage; the silence and calm are worth it.

The path to the guesthouse is hidden in the middle of the jungle, but you end up in a well‑maintained garden. The room is spacious and has air conditioning. The breakfast is generous but not very good.
