The host J treated us like family, offering great help and trust, and I was lucky to join their cooking sessions and a hot‑spring trip over ten days, enjoying the loving, plant‑filled space and adorable cat; the only downside was mosquitoes.

Everyone at the place is lovely, the small garden is always tidy and quiet, surrounded by plants and a cute cat; walking to town is easy, with good restaurants, laundry, and yoga classes nearby, and I truly enjoyed it ❤️.

The hosts were absolutely lovely and my private room was very cozy, with everything you’d need for a quiet, relaxing escape in Pai; the common areas were beautiful, and the family dinner with people from our hostel and another they run was spectacular; I hope to return someday. It isn’t a social or party hostel (which suits me), but it’s close enough to town to enjoy yourself and then come back for peaceful sleep.
