The hosts were attentive, polite, welcoming and friendly while staying discreet—they respected your privacy but were available when needed! The breakfast was amazing, far better than the hotels we had stayed in for far more money—the individual fresh fruit platters alongside the cooked breakfast, cereals and yoghurts were so welcome. I’ve never seen such a variety of fruit on one plate, and there was plenty of it. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and it was far enough from the main strip to be quiet and peaceful yet close enough to walk to the falls. There is nothing to dislike, though it may not suit everyone because it is a very traditional residence with a cosy feel rather than a modern house/hotel with modern facilities. But the comfy bed and plenty of hot water show that modern is not always better.

The loveliest staff, Salem was the nicest and makes the most delicious breakfast. I spent only one night at Butterfly with my husband and baby and they were super helpful. Thank you 🥰
