“Nova Scotia Truro”

This place is more of a motel, and the room was pretty spacious. The amenities were decent. The car was parked right in front of the door. Breakfast was offered in the attached hotel, and dinner could be had at the hotel restaurant—convenient and reasonably priced. Truro itself has a park with a waterfall. Otherwise, you can easily reach various sights by car from there. The breakfast could use some improvement.

The staff were friendly, but the distance from the main entrance was a bit inconvenient.

“Not going back”

Nice spot, but the beds were saggy and the suite had no real table or chairs to sit at. Breakfast was decent, but we only got it four times in our eight‑night stay. Not coming back.

“Comfortable Room”

Spacious king room, bed and pillows were comfy, bathroom was solid, kitchenette handy. Breakfast buffet was solid, dinner at Miller’s was tasty. Staff were friendly.

Front desk had two people. One was busy with a guest while my family waited. The staff member was juggling paperwork, took another couple’s request, didn’t say she’d be back soon. It slowed our check‑in. A friendly smile would help.
