There was nothing to like. The room had no TV, the front desk wouldn’t give us the remote for the AC, holding onto dozens of remotes and refusing to hand one over, constantly making excuses. I told them I was cold and needed to turn it off, but they wouldn’t. Each AC had a controller they wouldn’t give, claiming all ACs shared one. It seemed the staff had some ulterior motive and wouldn’t give the controller unless I asked repeatedly. The room assigned was next to the front desk’s sleeping area, with a door opening only 40 cm from the desk chair, no freedom. I’m a woman traveling with two kids, and the male front desk staff was not discreet at all. Many guests were checking out, and I didn’t want that room, so I asked for a change, but the staff wouldn’t. I booked through Book King at a different price, only to be charged higher upon arrival. The room given was a private home room, not a hotel room, with no bed. The male staff didn’t even wear a shirt, which is a big point. Overall, I booked for two nights but felt the male staff’s attitude was so bad I didn’t dare sleep; I went elsewhere. I returned the next day to check out. It was terrible. I’ve stayed at many places and never seen such poor front desk service. This is my first 1‑star review of a hotel.

The room was fine, clean, and the staff were cheerful and eager to help.
