The location. I had a very bad experience at Yakout Hostel. When I arrived, I had to wait about 2 hours before anyone was available to greet me. When I called to ask what to do, I was simply told to wait longer, with no apology or consideration for the wait time. The first room I was assigned was right next to the reception, under the stairs. It was very small, uncomfortable, and lacked light. Honestly, the room did not match the price paid at all. Fortunately, on the second day, another person was at the reception and was much kinder and more understanding. After asking to change rooms, they offered me another on the ground floor, larger and a bit more pleasant. However, cleanliness remains a major problem: the toilets and common areas were dirty, which really ruined the stay. For the price charged and considering the state of the rooms and lack of hygiene, I do not recommend this establishment. There are clearly things that need improvement, especially the reception, comfort, and most importantly, hygiene.

“Buen precio y buena ubicación. Ideal para jóvenes aventureros.”

I was there for two weeks and Ahmed was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed, which made my stay much better; the only downside was that in the first few days a family with kids was making a lot of noise and leaving more mess than they cleaned up.

The location given was wrong; getting there is practically impossible without a guide because the address points to behind the hostel instead of the entrance, and the entrance itself is on a very steep slope that’s hard to navigate for older people or those with mobility issues. I was handed a room with no ventilation, a broken fan, and no TV. On the floor where my room was, there was no hot water for showers—only two showers with hot water were available at the hostel’s entrance. The mattress was too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, the experience was poor and I think the hostel should improve both its location information and the condition of its rooms and services.

“Trés agréable et a refaire sans pour autant avoir un budget conséquent, reposant et apaisant.”

Bien situer dans l'ancienne ville, avec des commerce a proximité ( resto, magasin .), vue vue splendide sur le front de mer de la ville de tanger avec une terrasse très agréable pour profiter de la vue et du soleil
