The staff were friendly and the pool was nice, but the kitchen wasn’t usable. The taxi driver didn’t know where we were, and the hotel sits on a hill above town. We kept getting wrong info—our original booking was supposedly closed, yet it was still open. They also misdirected us about a dinner spot, as if they wanted to push us away from other places.

The place looks great and has been refreshed, plus the air‑conditioning is superbly cool. The pool area still shows signs of ongoing work.

A charming little hotel with stunning views up the hill, right near a cluster of shops and restaurants. You’ll need to be mobile to navigate all the hills and stairs on and around the property.

The hotel is lovely, clean, and quiet, with a nice pool and great views. The kitchen and laundry are fully equipped, and beach towels, chairs, and pool toys are provided. The staff are very friendly. It’s close to the top of the 99 Steps, so you can walk to shops, restaurants, and Blackbeard’s Castle. Only two parking spots are on site, but the staff helped us find other spots when needed. The water pressure is a bit low, but that’s expected on an island.
