The hotel is in an excellent spot in the Asian district, the port is within walking distance, and ferries depart from there to other parts of the city. The area is full of venues, restaurants, shops, and stays lively throughout the day. The room was well furnished and very clean. There is a terrace where you can have breakfast and it stays open until 11 pm, offering free water and tea.

The Marist Hotel earns a perfect 10/10, yet it should carry a warning label: they cancelled my confirmed booking, asked me to rebook, and promised to refund the €20.06 difference in cash, only to attempt to compensate me with points instead. The issue remains unresolved after formal complaints, so travelers should document everything and refuse points when money is owed.
