“Lovely, comfortable but too bright”
I loved the room—it was spotless and the bed was super comfy. The balcony offers a fantastic view, and everything is within walking distance, though Google Maps helps because the area is a bit maze‑like. A supermarket right next door lets you stock up and keep cold drinks in the fridge they provide. The shower is good, and the room supplies a sachet of shampoo and a small bar of soap, so bring your own if you prefer. I’d definitely stay here again! I was there for a wedding and my whole family envied the balcony. On the downside, they only give you a kettle and two cups, no spoons, tea, or coffee, so you’ll need to bring those. They offer one small bottle of water, unlike other places that provide sweets, tea, coffee, and plenty of water. The biggest gripe is the lack of curtains—just very thin net curtains—so when it’s dark you can’t change without people opposite seeing in, and the bright sun wakes you up at 6 am, which is rough after staying out till midnight.
“Très bon séjour”
The place is close to the metro, restaurants, and the courtyard, and it feels safe and clean. It’s quiet enough to sleep, even though the air‑conditioners can be a bit noisy during the day, but I still slept well at night after a tiring day.
Great location—just a short walk to the train terminal, all the churches, restaurants, and cafés. The premises are very clean and safe, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. The landlord was friendly and helpful.
We had a fantastic stay: the room was clean, the towels were fresh, and the view was nice. A special shout‑out to Monny for the excellent hospitality and warm service! The only downside was the outside noise; the glass recycling truck that collects full bottle containers early in the morning was too loud and woke us up each day.
Everything was perfect.
