Overall, the experience was excellent with great service, friendly staff, and very clean surroundings. The only drawback was the breakfast, which could use some improvement.

I stayed at Arkan for a night on my way to Luxor. Don’t expect a 4‑season resort; it’s a non‑touristic city. The rooms are new, though the hotel still needs some work after recent renovations. Staff were very polite, and overall it’s a fine stopover. Parking is right outside and safe. Don’t bother complaining about trivial things. The only issue was cleanliness, which could be better.

If you can’t find anything else, give this place a try; otherwise the hotel really needs a hotel.

The place was clean and the service polite. However, a group of 23 people made the hotel struggle to cope; we left early and not everyone received breakfast.
