“War ok. Sieht wunderschön aus, aber der zweite Blick sagt naja.”
The location is gorgeous, right next to nature, and the hotel itself looks beautiful with lovely rooms. The Wi‑Fi and Netflix work well, and the pool is a nice touch. The whole property feels like an art gallery with plenty of eye‑catching pieces. However, this is the most dysfunctional 5‑star hotel we've ever stayed in; even 4‑star places in Seoul and Busan were better. The minibar isn’t a proper fridge but just a wine cooler, so it can’t keep food or drinks you buy locally properly chilled, and it’s especially bad for medicines that need refrigeration. We were offered a mini‑fridge to connect, but it would have been too loud at night, so we ordered ice daily and stored it in the wine cooler. People don’t just drink wine, so that’s a flaw, and beer is already in the cooler but not cold enough. The wine cooler is drawer‑shaped; opening it tilts forward and hits the furniture it sits on. The shower leaks, with water running down the wall into the sink area, and water also collects on the window sill where you can go to the “whirlpool.” That whirlpool is just a huge outdoor bathtub with no extra features. A sink didn’t drain properly, water pooled often, likely a clogged drain. There are many towels but almost no hooks or space to hang them properly, and hardly any room or cabinets to store clothes; it’s enough for one person with two shirts, two pants, and two jackets, so extra luggage stays in the suitcase. The room was surprisingly dusty for a 5‑star hotel with upscale design; we understand staff are human, but there were several noticeably dirty spots, like the small table by the window.
