The restaurant was good, but our room was a bit noisy because it was close to the road, and the plugs next to the bed didn’t work.

Cradok serves as a stopover for the Mountain Zebra Park; the little town seems to be in decline. Albert House, about 10 km from the park, offers a decent compromise—though the house is old and a bit out‑of‑date, it appears to be the best option, and the father‑daughter owners are very friendly. A heated blanket would be necessary in winter for those not used to the cold, as the small reversible air‑conditioner doesn’t provide enough warmth.

We were greeted warmly by the owners, and the staff were professional and friendly. The food at True Living Restaurant was delicious and offered a great selection.

The location is good, close to the main road without being noisy, and the property has a breakfast restaurant. The room was okay-ish, but I didn’t realize it only had a bath and no shower. A constant water leak somewhere made the running water noise bother me all the time.
