“Lovely little pub with comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms”

A lovely little village pub with friendly staff and local customers, a very comfortable bed, and a really nice and spacious bathroom. The only minor issue was a bit of noise when other guests were leaving.

“Warm, kind and lovely pub to stay in”

The staff were brilliant and welcomed us warmly – it feels like a real pub with a great community, and the new chef’s food from Wednesday to Sunday was fab, especially the puddings; if you need breakfast, there’s a great spot in Clowne just a ten‑minute drive away.
