“Beautiful stay with some glitches.”
The breakfast by the sea was a dream, especially the $16 ticket that offered unlimited coffee, tea, juice, and a solid spread of options. The overall setting is beautiful and relaxed, with plenty of bars, restaurants, fine dining, casual spots, and live music nearby—El Mundo Bizarro, a great Cuban spot, is a must‑visit. The location itself is fantastic. On the downside, service can be slow, and if you arrive right at opening time, some items might still be missing—one morning the eggs hadn’t been delivered yet. The hotel can also be noisy; voices and restaurant sounds bleed into the rooms, making it hard to sleep.

We stayed in Apartment No. 10, right behind the restaurant with a sea view, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks again for giving it to us free of charge after the originally booked Oceanview room turned out unavailable :-) It’s perfect for arriving in Curaçao and walking around Willemstad, then relaxing on the terrace. The staff are very helpful and you feel safe. Parking on the street is hassle‑free. On my birthday, the staff sang me a song, and a card and balloons awaited me—very sweet! The downside: one room opens onto the street and is very loud at night.

It’s a lovely spot right next to Restaurante La Reina, perfect for breakfast. Unfortunately, no one spoke Spanish, making communication tough. The main entrance to the hotel is kept closed, forcing you to enter through the restaurant’s alley, which is nice but the hallway leading to the room behind the kitchen is a cramped back alley that’s not pleasant. The pool was dirty and had dental floss thrown in it. In the room, kitchen noise and footsteps from the floor above are loud. It’s a bit far from the city center and tourist areas for walking.
