The location is very good, a bit outside the town, but everything is still easily reachable on foot. The rustic beer garden with self‑serve options is beautiful, and when you shout into the woods it echoes back. The owners are very nice.

Breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere cozy, and it was the perfect starting point for bike tours.

It’s a wonderful base for the Spreewald and truly outstanding: the hosts and staff are very loving and courteous, they manage the boat rentals, are always extremely helpful, and simply warm and human.
The entire reception was great, we received excellent information about excursions and the operators were very, very friendly; we had no complaints.
