The place was a disaster: the bathroom was filthy, as if it had never been cleaned; the room was dusty, even with shredded paper on the floor. Wi‑Fi barely worked, reaching only up to the door. The area was close to the center yet surrounded by a row of brothels—noisy and dangerous. It was a mess and overpriced for what was offered, hotel‑priced but with hostel‑level basic amenities.
