“Perfect for a short stay”

They let me check in early, and the bed was beautifully decorated with towels. However, the shower leaked.

The housekeeper was friendly and let me into the room ahead of schedule. The bathroom fan was built into a frame that rattled, the bed creaked, the shared kitchenette was unfinished, the faucet in the bathroom sink was missing its end piece, and the TV only worked part of the time.

The interior was clean and quite cozy. The windows above the bar were a drawback: at 1 am people were talking, smoke drifted into the room, and it was impossible to ventilate.
