“Rude hotel front desk man”

The room was clean and cozy, and we chose this place because it advertised pet friendly. But the front desk man was disheveled and rude; after handing us the key he ran out yelling we were not in the right parking spot, even though there were no signs. When he saw the dogs he came back very rude, saying they can’t be on the bed and asking why we didn’t bring a kennel, and he also said we’d have to pay for them. I asked to speak with him about the rules; he wouldn’t come out and sent his wife instead, who was nice and smoothed things over, but the first impression was bad. The place is not dog friendly.

The property was okay, but the room was smelly and I couldn’t tolerate the odor all night. The towels looked discolored and not fresh, there was no Wi‑Fi, the fridge wasn’t cold enough and made a terrible noise, and the blankets had been used by the previous customer. I’m very disappointed and won’t go back.

The location was fine, but the sink was quite spare and browned, and the parking was crude. The manager woke me up to move my car, which was properly parked, because there were no signs. I’m unlikely to stay here again.

After a four‑hour drive we discovered that the hotel had no rooms left, even though we had booked months ahead; we had to scramble for another place and would not recommend it.

“Dirty and depressing.”

The mattress box spring was exposed, stained and filthy, making the bed very uncomfortable; the white towels in the bathroom were old and stained, the room smelled and looked as if it hadn’t been painted in a while; the lack of cleanliness, the old beds, mattresses and towels, the dark, depressing yellowish/beige paint, and the ground‑level blinds that let in public view were all unacceptable.
