A great host! We received very useful tips for arrival, parking, and especially about the impressive Matera. L’Antica Conceria sits beautifully over the gorge in a newly renovated ancient tannery. The parking garage is only 100 m away. The old town is a 10‑minute walk. The breakfast is very good, lovingly prepared. Everything was fine.

The accommodation was super comfortable—the bed, bathroom, shower, all new and high quality, quiet and perfect for a peaceful night. We felt a typical unforgettable night of matter. The host Martino was very attentive and suggested several city tours! Nothing.

The property was well located within easy walking distance to the main Sassi area. Our room was clean, comfortable, modern with a lovely balcony overlooking the gorge, a comfortable bed, and lovely white sheets and quilt cover. But our host Martino was the highlight. He was so helpful and met us on our arrival with an assigned parking area. He provided us with information about the town and really could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. There was nothing to dislike about this property.
