“The bed was supposed to be a double and it was just 2 singles pushed together I have scoliosis so I didn’t sleep well at”
The only thing I liked was how nice the exterior looked; it was absolutely stunning, but I won’t stay here again. The staff were rude upon arrival and seemed indifferent. The hotel is large, and we were simply handed a key to a room we had to find ourselves—no staff to give directions, so we got lost. Don’t expect the bath jets to work; I spent over two hours trying to activate them, but they made no noise. They should be removed and refitted if possible.

Great location, great breakfast and lots of seating. Parking is challenging, room was without window resulting in very hot temperatures
The bar and main floor were excellent, yet the room felt dated, could have been cleaner—there was a crisp packed behind the drawer unit between the beds—and the ensuite was also very old.
“Would not stay again”
Breakfast was ok. Room was small and dingy,the view was just a wall and there was a dead bird that had clearly been there a while as you could see its skull ,also a random trainer there as well as an old pint glass ,the jets for the bath had been siliconed up too

The place was old and tired, the room was far too hot, unclean in spots, and the weekend was crowded. Checking in and out felt hectic with insufficient staff, and overall the temperature, cleanliness, and room interiors were disappointing.
