“I recommend The Flamingo!”
The family running the hotel were great, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and there were no strange odors in any of the four rooms I stayed in over three weeks; the hotel is within walking distance of decent restaurants, with Peet’s Coffee next to the New York Pizza place just a five‑minute walk, and a Starbucks even closer by the Five Guys Burgers, basically right across the street or a two‑minute jaywalk. The only downside is that it sits on a main thoroughfare, so traffic can be loud.
