The room was spacious, with many beds available and minimal breakfast equipment. However, the beds were dirty, the shower had hair from previous guests under the mat, and the building felt very damp.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town centre. The room lacked a proper sitting area, even though cushions were provided to sit on the bed, which was not very practical. We knew there were no cooking facilities, but the common room was occupied by a large family group, so we couldn't use any of its amenities. A toaster and microwave in the room would have improved the stay.

There was no toilet paper, constant noise from a rattling door, a bedside lamp with a faulty bulb that was totally unsuitable, an untunable TV, no aerial connection—only a paid view option. I am requesting a partial refund because the accommodation fell short of standards. P.E. Orourke
