The location was fine, but the building looked tired and filthy, with stained carpets that gave a terrible impression. One night the housekeeping didn’t come, and the bathroom faucets were old and misaligned, making it a guessing game to get water flowing. Our door wouldn’t latch properly, so we spent the first night unable to secure the room, and the next day they moved us into a disabled‑access room. I had to go down to the lobby for the swap, and the only genuinely helpful person was the maintenance staff, who were extremely courteous and professional. For a Sheraton, the place needs serious cleaning, maintenance and a remodel. We had to fetch bottled water from the desk every day at no charge. At checkout they charged us an hour’s fee to store our luggage, which feels abusive for a guest, and they also made us pay to receive a parcel that arrived by courier, another unreasonable charge. Guests deserve to be treated as guests.

I really liked the view of Times Square and the overall location of the hotel, but I didn’t like that we had to wait an hour to check in when we arrived, and that out of three elevators only one worked, and in the morning when we were leaving that one also broke. We were in a hurry, so we had to walk down 21 floors on foot.

The location was spot‑on.

The location is good. The deposit and invoice were unclear, and they had to refund us money.
