Hôtel Restaurant le Provence

The proximity to the city centre was a plus, but the hotel felt old, outdated, and poorly insulated; our room faced the road and we suffered heavy traffic noise late into the night and early in the morning. The check‑in time of 18:00 was extremely inconvenient, forcing us to leave our luggage in the car and return later, which we’d rather have avoided after a long drive. I’ve never seen such late check‑in times elsewhere. Even though the restaurant reviews were good, the food we ate was nothing special. The rating on Booking had made us expect a better experience.

“Very comfortable”

I met very friendly staff and found the rooms incredibly cozy, plus the food was solid. It worked well as a pit‑stop for our long journey. The only downside was the lack of private parking in town, though a small public lot right across the street was convenient.
