The location was quiet with stunning views, and there were plenty of monkeys around.
The entire hotel team was friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The facilities and surroundings were wonderful—a little paradise surrounded by nature, and the pool was enjoyable. If you’re lucky, you might spot an elephant bathing in the nearby sanctuary’s river, and the monkeys are cute if you respect their space and don’t offer them anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is remote, so you’ll need transport to leave; there’s no walking path around, but the free hotel transfer or Grab works fine.
“Goed resort, vriendelijk personeel.”
The stay was pleasant with friendly staff, a quiet resort, and a good pool. Breakfast was very extensive and well prepared. In the area you can kayak nicely, and there’s a lovely elephant sanctuary nearby. The resort is ten minutes from the city center, but it’s peaceful on the property.
“Huge resort with everything you can ask from a holiday with family”
Breakfast had a wide variety, rooms were spacious with mountain views, and monkeys were a fun sight. Some rooms felt too far from the restaurant and pool for older guests, and the bicycles might not suit everyone. The staff were generally helpful, especially Deen at reception who offered to drop us off nearby, but the white‑uniformed staff were less welcoming, and we felt the reception could have been better than at other Thai hotels.
“היה נחמד מאוד, מקום אותנטי עם וייב תאילנדי”
The staff were mostly lovely and spoke English, making communication easy. We booked the large villa, but the jacuzzi didn’t work; they said it would take a day to fix, and after another day they still said it wouldn’t be repaired before we left. I requested compensation, and the manager agreed. Ants were an issue in the kitchen, and you couldn’t leave anything outside the fridge. We mainly stayed to see the monkeys, but the morning show on the terrace was ruined by leftover cocktail glasses, and the monkeys would play with clothes left outside in the morning and afternoon.
