The little hotel has a lot of charm and potential. Unfortunately we never felt welcomed – at check‑in there was nobody, we waited almost an hour in 35 °C, made several calls, and finally got the room code without any apology or greeting. A WhatsApp message later listed all the rules of what you can’t do, and every corner was plastered with signs saying breakfast is free (even though it’s included in the room rate) yet tips are expected. At breakfast we were reminded at least ten times to leave a tip. The breakfast staff were genuinely friendly and great, but the endless tip signs on every table felt rude and unnecessary.

I've stayed here twice now, and the value for money is great. The staff are super friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and the room is clean and comfy. The hot water works well, the AC and fan are perfect, and there's plenty of it. My only tip is to book ahead - I tried to come back for a third stay, but they were fully booked.

I stayed here but wasn't too thrilled with the location, it didn't feel great. That's pretty much my experience.

I used this place for an overnight stay, which was fine, but the room had a pretty bad smell of dampness. The included breakfast was a letdown - they bring hot water and leave coffee powder and sugar on the table for you to make your own coffee, and the omelet or hot cakes they offer are super small. Also, the staff tells you the tip isn't included, but then there's a sign at breakfast asking for a 20 MXN tip per person, which felt kinda tacky.
