The house was roomy with many bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for two families to have privacy, and the beds were very comfortable; the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor seating in the backyard was rusty and in need of a refresh, so we spent most of our time on the balcony watching Forsythe Park. Aside from a few minor issues that didn’t affect our stay, we had a great time.

The location was good, but there was mold in the bathrooms and kitchen.

The place was nicely decorated, cozy, and well‑located. You should unload your car from the front door before parking at the back, especially in the rain. Keep in mind that the kitchen and living room are on the second floor, and the back entrance/exit goes through the bedroom.

For a 100‑120 y.o. home, the bedrooms and bathrooms were large, and we loved the second‑floor front balcony with tables and chairs that let us enjoy a bit of Forsyth Park; the neighbors were close but offered good privacy outside. The location was excellent, the kitchen had almost everything we needed, and a front‑load stacked washer/dryer, a huge TV, and a comfy L‑shaped sofa in the smaller living area were great. The heating/air was comfortable and controllable, and the host was prompt and checked in several times to gather feedback. We would recommend it with a few adjustments. The negatives were that the toilet paper and paper towels were cheap and thin, so we had to buy more. The upper back bedroom mattress was severely sagged and deeply dented. There were only one towel per bathroom for two people, so we had to wash clothes more often than we wanted during vacation. The dryer vent hose wasn’t connected outside and the lint trap was never cleaned, accumulating multiple layers of lint. The HVAC air filter was clogged with dust, so we were breathing dirty air. Bathroom tiles and floors needed a thorough cleaning; they’re old but still could be scrubbed. The host has addressed the mattress, dryer, and HVAC issues and taken photos, so future guests may not encounter the same problems. The cleaning fee feels excessive.
