The guesthouse was beautiful, and there were no particular negatives.

The place was simple, cozy, and welcoming, impeccably clean; showers and kitchen were excellent, and good restaurants, a café, the beach, and a konbini were all nearby.

It was clean and close to the beach, but the beds were terribly uncomfortable, with a mattress on top of the frame; if it had been on tatami I might have slept a bit. The rest of the accommodation was fine, but ultimately the ability to rest matters most.

The sea and eateries were within walking distance, the area was quiet with few cars, allowing a relaxed stroll; the sound of the weaving machine and the beach sunset were superb. I just wish checkout had been a bit more relaxed.
