The location is perfect, but the real highlight is the hosts—two super friendly grandparents who gave us excellent recommendations, invited us to a local tea ceremony, and drove us around in their car because it was raining and the station was a bit far. A ten‑point stay; words of thanks just aren’t enough. Nothing else was lacking.

The hosts picked us up from the station even though we were late, pointed out great spots for breakfast and dinner, and laid out the ideal order to explore the town. They also taught us how to brew and enjoy matcha tea. Truly wonderful hosts and an amazing experience.

This was my second visit and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel welcome; they display a huge collection of Detective Conan merchandise, almost like a mini‑exhibition. They offer workshops such as making your own lamp with washi paper and give lots of tips on local attractions. The accommodation is close to everything and within walking distance. They even drove me to the coin laundry and supermarket, which was very thoughtful. The room is spacious and exudes a Japanese vibe. I highly recommend this place. No negatives.

The owner was very enthusiastic and even personally drove to pick me up at the station, knowing the Conan statue was a bit far, so he drove me there to take photos.
