“HOTEL POCO AGRADABLE EN PTO MALDONADO”
I arrived exhausted from my trip and the front desk was unhelpful; they gave me a room that wasn’t the one I had booked. I had to climb up and then come back down to tell the receptionist that she hadn’t checked my room request, so she finally moved me to the 4th floor. After an hour I asked again to switch to a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor because my mother would be arriving and she can’t climb many flights, but the reception flat‑out refused, claiming the whole hotel was full. When I discreetly asked the housekeeping staff, they confirmed that rooms were available on those floors. The breakfast consisted of just a cheese sandwich and pineapple juice. I requested two eggs and fried bananas for an extra fee, but for the 160.00 soles I paid per night for two people, that was a real embarrassment. Puerto Maldonado attracts travelers who want to experience the area, but a hotel like this doesn’t help tourism develop.
