The receptionist was very upset by our arrival and seemed to want us to leave; she was unfriendly, unwelcoming, and arrogant. We came with my husband and our 6‑month‑old baby to relax and feel at ease. We didn’t ask for housekeeping because we kept the room tidy, but on the last extended evening we needed towels and called reception. A lady eventually brought them, but she was very upset, questioning why we had to ask for towels and implying we were not allowed to do so, and she didn’t explain the request schedule. The request window was between 19:00 and 20:00 because we were at the restaurant. The location is superb and relaxing, and the waiters are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel still needs to improve its staff, as how you’re received matters a lot.

The countryside spot was lovely, the team was very helpful and warm, rooms were spotless and the housekeeping crew was polite and considerate, yet the air‑conditioning was temperamental and could not be adjusted, and the Wi‑Fi worked only in a limited area of the room and was somewhat unreliable.

The location and the receptionist were great. The room had a few shortcomings: no shower pressure, the mattress made you sink in, the carpet had stains, and the curtain was slightly hung and a bit dirty (probably from other guests). The restaurant: I’m not sure if there were multiple chefs, but the one I dealt with seemed not to respect his craft (no mention of customers!). I ordered schnitzel with French fries, but the schnitzel’s crust didn’t stick to the meat and it was raw inside; the fries were cold, as if fried an hour earlier, and covered in a lot of grated cheese that didn’t melt. I assumed they tried to hide the fact that the fries weren’t freshly fried. I also ordered oven‑baked pancakes from the menu, but received something that looked like a thick pie crust, not a pancake, and it was raw inside.
