The location was excellent for what we had to do in Joburg, and although we barely stayed long enough to explore the property, we appreciated the accommodation at the end of each day; the bed was super comfy, the shower pressure was awesome, and the room was big and airy, making for a comfortable stay. We did not explore the accommodation to dislike anything.

The location was good and the showers were good, but the heating was inadequate and the rooms were cold. The rooms were very stuffy and smelled of cigarettes; I would have liked a non‑smoking option. There was no response to WhatsApp messages, parking was a real problem, and we struggled for a long time to get hold of someone because we were parked in and had to leave early. The offices in the house on the way to the rooms were messy and untidy and not a good sight. Drinks were available but no one was there to assist, and facilities like the pool table were occupied and used by owners.

The staff were friendly and the place felt homely; the communal area was my highlight with the pool, pool table and braai facilities really nice to chill by, and the staff and owners make you feel at home in a safe, friendly environment!

I’ve been here twice already and it’s still great; the bar inside offers a good selection of drinks.
