The rooms were spacious with stunning views, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to pick you up in the buggy. The food was good and reasonably priced. We took the shuttle to the surf beach, which was great, and also used the shuttle to Rawai Beach/town where there are plenty of restaurants, though the beach itself was not suitable for swimming. I recommend the spa; it was the best massage I have had. We didn’t swim in the sea, but the pool was fantastic. The resort is away from everything but that’s a nice surprise and well worth the stay.

The beach villa was nice and the pool was lovely. However, this was definitely not a 5‑star hotel, at most it was a 4* hotel. The location was not great, the beach could not be used, and there was no area around the resort to go. The resort felt outdated and the food was only ok.

The setting is superb, and all staff were very friendly and helpful. It was noisy by the pool when work was being done on a villa with a pneumatic drill.
