“Deludente”

The lady Emanuela was very kind and helpful. We returned to this property after a few years and the disappointment was undeniable. Despite the price increase over time, we found a visibly aged building, starting with the front door that struggled to open from the outside, to the damaged walls that were no longer painted and clean like a few years ago. The lounge lacked the furniture shown in the photos, the communal TV had been removed, the rooms were poorly maintained and completely anonymous and empty except for the bed, TV and lamp. The TV with remote was not working. The sheets were clean but emitted a strange stale odor. I had booked a room that included breakfast but when we woke up we found nothing. The kitchen was completely empty, there was not even a bottle of water. I'm sorry but we will not return.

The rooms are spacious with a common living area and kitchen. Close to the historic center of Lecce. Nothing to say.

“Pratique quand on est de passage pour quelques nuits.”

The apartment is adequate for a short stay. The mattress is good quality and there are enough amenities available. The kitchen is available but monitored by a camera. Parking is not so obvious (paid or risk of towing). The decor is sterile, making the apartment soulless. The shower needs a little renovation and cleaning. And the front door was broken, so not very secure.

The property is clean and welcoming. The staff are very helpful. Nothing.

The property has potential. Its location in particular allows reaching both the train station and the historic center of Lecce within a few minutes on foot. The courtesy and availability of the owner to let us leave our luggage early was appreciated. The room suffers from humidity. There was a strong odor and there were dehumidifiers scattered between the room and the bathroom. There was also an unpleasant smell in the common area. In the room and the bathroom there was a lot of dust and little attention to detail: it would be useful to have a luggage rack, hangers in the bathroom for shower towels and to make sure that when the room is handed over the shower gel and shampoo dispensers are sufficiently stocked. For this last point the owner did remedy it. I would also suggest maintaining the shower because a lot of water was coming out of the shower tray, creating a puddle on the floor. Regarding breakfast, the photos on Booking do not match reality. We were still offered a "pasticciotto".
